Shared History of the World – Afrofuturism in Amsterdam
Step into the world of Shared History of the World, an exhibition at OBA Oosterdok that brought together more than thirty international artists from the Netherlands, the Caribbean, the U.S., and Brazil. Through digital art, film, paintings, and installations, this immersive experience reimagined history, mythology, and the future from an Afrofuturistic perspective. A collaboration between First Noble Institute, BSAM NL, BSAM International, and BSAM Brasil, the exhibition explored speculative storytelling, ancestral memory, and the rewriting of historical narratives.
