Rise of the Mafu Crowdfunding Smashes Goals – Still Open on Kickstarter! Our crowdfunding campaign for Rise of the Mafu, the first graphic novel in the His Story of the World universe, has been a massive success! In just a few weeks, we hit 148% of our goal on Voordekunst (€8,900 raised) and 173% on Kickstarter (€12,137 and counting)!

Shared History of the World – Afrofuturism in Amsterdam Step into the world of Shared History of the World, an exhibition at OBA Oosterdok that brought together more than thirty international artists from the Netherlands, the Caribbean, the U.S., and Brazil. Through digital art, film, paintings, and installations, this immersive experience reimagined history, mythology, and the future from an Afrofuturistic perspective. A collaboration between First Noble Institute, BSAM NL, BSAM International, and BSAM Brasil, the exhibition explored speculative storytelling, ancestral memory, and the rewriting of historical narratives.

The 1st International Afrofuturism Global Congress – A Historic Gathering at Shared History of the World On December 7-8, 2024, the 1st International Afrofuturism Global Congress took place at OBA Oosterdok, bringing together Afrofuturists from the Global North and South for the first time. As part of the Shared History of the World exhibition, this groundbreaking event explored Black Speculative Art, storytelling, hip-hop, comics, film, VR, and gaming.

As part of the special program of the Shared History of the World exhibition, Ankhcestory on December 5, 2024, was an immersive journey through storytelling, ritual, and ancestral connection. The evening blended live music, theater, and a five-course dinner by KukruBasi, creating a space where guests from across the diaspora connected through shared history, culture, and tradition

We are excited to announce our collaboration with the Leeds International African Arts Festival (LIAAF) 2024. First Noble will conduct a Worldbuilding Workshop on creating your own universe, a reading from the book His Story of the World, the virtual exhibition His Story of the World based on the universe from the novel, and a fun kids’ session on world creation.

Sa-Roc and Sol Messiah join a panel talk & cypher for MC’s at Haags Hiphop Centrum on Friday evening, February 23th. At Raising Frequencies & Building community a panel of artists and community activists will discuss finding their way as socially conscious creators in a commercial industry.

Especially for Stadsschouwburg Utrecht, as part of the Black Achievement Month, we have created an exhibition featuring various artists from the African diaspora. It will be on display in the foyers of the city theater from September 20th to December 15th, 2023.
