What an incredible journey! On December 3rd we launched crowdfunding campaigns on Kickstarter and Voordekunst to bring Rise of the Mafu—the first graphic novel in a trilogy set in the His Story of the World universe—to life.

And now, just a few weeks later, we’re beyond excited to share that we reached our goals on BOTH platforms—and then some! The response has been overwhelming, with backers going above and beyond to support this vision.

Voordekunst: A Massive Success

With a limited pledging window, the Voordekunst campaign wrapped up successfully, thanks to 88 amazing backers who helped us raise €8,900—an incredible 148% of our original goal!

Kickstarter: And We’re Still Going!

Over on Kickstarter, the support has been next-level. We reached 173% of our goal, with 193 backers contributing €12,137—and counting! We officially hit our milestone in just 1.5 months, but pledges keep rolling in, proving that excitement for Rise of the Mafu is still growing.
