First Noble at FUTURE WAVES in Dakar

From 12 to 15 September 2025, First Noble will be in Dakar, Senegal for FUTURE WAVES: Afrofuturism 2.0 and The World

This unique four day festival brings together artists, thinkers and innovators from across the Afro diaspora to explore how Afrofuturism moves us forward through art, music, technology and shared memory.

We are honored to represent the African diaspora in Europe and to share what we have been building, including Rise of the Mafu, HIS STORY OF THE WORLD and our immersive exhibition experience. But most of all, we are excited to reconnect with our global Afrofuturistic family. From Brazil to the Caribbean, from the Netherlands to the Canada, we come together to imagine and build liberated Black futures.

This space is for anyone who believes in the power of story, legacy and transformation. Whether you join us in person or online, you are part of this.

From visionary performances and art exhibitions to book talks, VR installations and live music by Sa Roc, the tour celebrates Afro-Caribbean mythology, creativity, and collective memory. At the heart is the graphic novel Rise of the Mafu, premiering worldwide alongside album showcases, community events, and immersive storytelling.
